Wide Eyed

Last Week I was having a coffee in the local coffee shop and was fascinated with a group at the next table.  Picture if you will, two young Mums with six children under five, a recipe for trouble you might think.  But no, they were ever so quiet.  The reason – bubbles.  Do you remember those little bottles of solution with a little wand that you dipped in the mixture then blew through the wand and you would get bubbles floating up into the air?  Well, the mums had thoughtfully supplied the children with the bubble kit and they were taking turns.  From time to one of the mums would have a turn and blow a gigantic bubble.  One little sweetie in particular was so fascinated she would watch with eyes wide as saucers as the bubble floated away.  This childlike wonder is something we seem to lose as we age.  Matthew 18:3 tells us to become like children again.  And Jesus called a little child to Him and set him in their midst,...
